WE FEEL OUR WORLD SQUEEZING US AND AS HUMAN BEINGS, ESPECIALLY WOMEN, WE ARE ON THE VERY EDGE OF A CLIFF. THAT'S WHERE THE BEAUTY BEGINS, WE ARE EITHER GOING TO FALL OFF OR FLY. OUR TINY STEPS, OUR UNIFYING ACTIONS WILL DECIDE WHAT'S NEXT.

IN ONE'S ELEMENT

IN ONE'S ELEMENT

There’s nothing more sacred than your home. It’s not just supposed to be shelter, a place to take care of your children, or where you binge watch Game of Thrones. Your home should feed you, nourish you and inspire you everyday to wake up and face the world. It’s supposed to have elements inside that remind you of your travels and also the things that cater to your self care. Your home should make you feel covered and protected. That’s why it’s important to have the things in your house that speak to you. Your favorite colors, things that feel good on your skin, or something that makes you happy.

The entire philosophy of Feng Shui is to create a living space so that you can be your best self. It doesn’t have to be expensive. Your house and your space, is a metaphor for how you live your everyday. If you have a space that’s cluttered, It’s going to be difficult to make your life beautiful, expansive and abundant. These are some of the places that I love and draw inspiration from. I will continue to highlight places that curate beautiful things or designers that bring homes to life.

Have nothing in your house that you do not know to be useful, or believe to be beautiful.

The strength of a nation derives from the integrity of the home.

Not one of us can rest, be happy, be at home, be at peace with ourselves, until we end hatred and division.
